TrustVenture Education and Advisory (“TrustVenture”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Information we collect
- Information you give us: when you fill in a form, book a consultation, or contact us, we collect your name, email, phone number, and the details you choose to share.
- Information for insurance and investment applications: if you become a client, we collect the information needed to assess your needs and complete applications, which may include financial, health, and identity information. We collect this only with your consent and only as required.
- Website information: our website may use cookies and similar technologies to function properly and understand how visitors use it.
How we use it
- To respond to your questions and schedule consultations
- To provide advice and recommend suitable products
- To submit applications to insurance companies and our distributor, Crius Financial Services
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to serve you: with insurance companies whose products you apply for, with Crius Financial Services, with regulators when required by law, and with service providers that help us operate (such as our scheduling tool, Calendly, and our email and website hosting providers). Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.
How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards, and we keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
